During the lengthy process of selling a multimillion dollar horse farm, Susan was always professional and pro-active. She kept me informed of the status of negotiations and her observations of potential offerees (about which she was always spot-on). One of the frustrating things that can happen when a property is on the market is that the agent "goes dark", i.e. just quits communicating. This never happened with Susan and I never felt that she had lost interest, or wasn't working at the sale. Ultimately she produced a transaction at a price close to what she had predicted on day one. Then she shepherded it through closing without a hiccup, recommending an attorney and dealing with an out-of-state corporate buyer. During the entire process Susan displayed a real knowledge of the equine real estate market and equine matters in general. (She is a long-time horsewoman herself.) She listened to - and acted upon - our desire to find a buyer that would maintain the rural nature of the property rather than subdivide it, and our disdain for speculators. I would certainly recommend Susan to anyone selling or looking to buy property in western DuPage, Kane, Will, McHenry or Kendall Counties.
