•Where to start.....Cathy likely didn't expect the roller coaster ride we took her on but she was there by our side the entire ride. Started off looking at country properties, 5-12 acres, ponds, barns, out buildings. Finding them was easy enough. Cathy made herself available to us sometimes same day after we had sent her something we were very excited about looking at. Often she was sending us a link to houses we were sending her, lol, passing on the internet highway within the same timeframe. She had a total understanding in what we were looking for. 3 different properties that we loved enough to put offers in on. Each had some issues after inspections. Some of them major like septic systems that needed large repairs or replacement, one the owner wouldn't let our septic guy do a full inspection after the inspector had identified major concerns, one house had walls separating from the ceiling that needed major repairs. All of these owners would not come down a reasonable price to allow for the repairs to be done so offers were withdrawn. After doing some rethinking of if I was actually going to be able to keep up with that large a country property after some health issues came to light, we changed directions and started looking for homes in subdivisions with .33-.5 acres instead. Again, Cathy was always available and extremely good at getting homes scheduled quickly for us to visit. We finally found what we have agreed is our dream home. The perfect size with the perfect amenities for a couple of people in their 60's that like to cook and entertain friends and family. It's a beautiful home and we were very happy with the price Cathy negotiated for us. I can't recommend Cathy highly enough for anyone that is looking to sell or buy a home. She is YOUR ADVOCATE and will keep you informed, work hard at getting what you want quickly and goes through homes with her years of experience with the eye of an inspector, pointing our both the good, the bad and the ugly.
