•Don has a very laid back style but checked in routinely while I was prepping the home for sale. He had visited my mom there on her 100th birthday, six months before she passed away, and was very respectful of everything in the house as I slowly emptied it. He gave me great advice on what needed to be done, and worked at my pace, never pushing too hard to get the house on the market before I was ready. He knows the local market really well, and waived me off early offers that were too low. Once we got through the holidays and buyer interest started picking up, he suggested (and even provided) low cost fixes to the feedback we were getting from potential buyers. In the end, he negotiated a full price offer that I was very happy with. In addition, the buyer's agent went out of the country and was completely unresponsive to questions, status updates or any concerns or needs for approximately the last 4 weeks of the process. Fortunately, Don was able to work around this complete lack of responsiveness by speaking directly to the lending bank and his personal network to bring the sale to closure. In my opinion, Don should have received the buyer's commission as well as the seller's, given that he did all of the work to close the deal. He was great to work with and I would recommend him highly.
