Working with Danielle Smallwood, I was able to sell my rental property, a Northeast Philly duplex, at the asking price, before it was even technically listed on the market! I originally know Danielle from our time at high school, where she was our star basketball player (and I was a benchwarmer haha). In February 2021, I finally came to the conclusion that I wanted to sell my duplex, and knowing Danielle was a realtor, I figured I’d reach out! During our first consult call, it became clear right away that Danielle would do a great job, so I was happy to sign on as her client immediately. And I’m so glad I did — throughout the next several weeks, Danielle wore many hats and did so flawlessly. She was my full-time real estate agent, my part-time property manager (e.g., managing difficult tenants, arranging a basement cleanup, arranging showtimes for the property) and ultimately, she was my signing proxy (as I’m a couple hours away, in DC)! Danielle got the job done but it’s important to emphasize how much I enjoyed working with her — I appreciated her responsiveness to email, her helpful manner, and the pleasant way she conducted business. I enjoyed every minute of my journey with Danielle, and if you are looking to buy/sell in the Philadelphia area, I can’t recommend her enough!

Danielle is a very patient and helpful person. She was always available and willing to answer any questions I may have had. She gave personal experiences she has come across as examples to help me with my process in choosing what to look for while house hunting. She was eager to listen to any concerns I may have had. She made me feel like she truly cared about helping me understand the process of purchasing a home and not just rushing me through in order to get a sale.
