The HSDM team was behind Latrice all the way, helping her (and us!) with staging, photographing, and marketing our house after we had purchased our new one. I loved going to showings with Latrice because her joyful personality is so infectious. Even if a house wasn't the right fit for us, she noted what we liked and what we didn't, and helped us readjust our wish list, desired neighborhood, and budget to help us find a house that is honestly perfect for us. Buying a house is a stressful purchase - and we decided to embark on it during the winter - but Latrice actually made it fun. Right off the bat, she nailed the comps, which helped us price the place perfectly—we were honestly shocked at how fast it moved! What really blew us away, though, was her dedication. Since we were out of state (and my wife was even out of the country at one point), we needed someone we could trust to run the show. She handled everything smoothly and even spent basically the entire weekend at our house right before closing just to make sure the handyman could get in and finish up his work. She totally took the stress out of a complicated situation and went way above and beyond what we expected. We couldn’t have done it without her!

Working with Nora was absolutely incredible. She met with us early to tour our house and gave suggestions on what improvements we should make and which ones we should hold off on. She was extremely responsive and helped us balance having our home ready to show while still living in it. We received regular updates on market conditions and had a solid dialogue about timing and pricing to get our home on the market. When it was time to list, she walked through with us and suggested minor touches to help us show the house. We listed the house on a Friday, and after 2 days of open houses and a couple of private showings, we received an offer at nearly full asking price with others interested within 3 days of listing. Once we had accepted the offer she continued to work with us to address inspection follow-up items and to prepare for closing. My wife and I have bought and sold multiple houses. We have never had a process go this smoothly from start to finish. Our estate needed to get our house sold and were just not getting the level of communication and inputs from our previous agent, in stepped Nora and Latrice. Nora came highly recommended by our niece and so we called her, explaining concerns on just not feeling like our family home was getting the inputs we needed to feel like it was a priority. Nora initially asked us what we felt we needed in an agent along with explaining how she would plan on marketing it, along with strategies for selling a home that needed some “tender loving care.” We were pleasantly surprised with the initial level of activity generated, and all along the process getting excellent, and regular updates and communication. Also to be noted was that we did this whole transaction from out of state which could have added levels of complexity, but Nora and Latrice made that aspect easy to navigate and we had no issues or concerns to speak of from that. We closed and sold the house in a period of one month. Could not have been more pleased. Closing from out of state was also handled easily and professionally with the help of Nora and Latrice.
