Allison is a truly wonderful agent! My wife and I cannot express our gratitude for her help buying our first home. Being new to the Charlotte area, we were unfamiliar with different areas, and Allison took her time walking us through the differences in each neighborhood, which helped us make our decision. She was easy to reach, an excellent negotiator, and having been in the mortgage business in the past, she was extremely knowledgeable about the best way to present an offer was! Having an agent who understands the finance side of buying a house was very helpful, as Allison guided us on saving for a down payment, how to apply for a loan and who to use. Our first contact with Allison was about two years ago when we were interested in a property that she was the listing agent on. At that point, we were still deciding on whether to renew our apartment lease or take the plunge and become first time home buyers. We ultimately decided to not even view the listing and decided to resign our lease. It was just not the right time for us to purchase a home. Flash forward to the end of 2017, and after a lot of thought, we decided it was the time to start looking for that perfect home. We still had Allison's contact information and reached out to her. After our first walk through at a home we were interested in, I knew Allison was the agent for us. At our first viewing, Allison noted that she really enjoyed working with first time home buyers. I imagine other agents might say this, but I can attest this is true for Allison. If you haven't yet jumped in to the world of homeownership, let me tell you, there is a lot of information. A lot. With Allison, you have a knowledgable, patient, and friendly person to partner with. She was always quick to respond and answered the same questions for me over and over with the utmost patience. After looking at several homes when the pickings were already slim, we finally found and put an offer in on "the" home. Once the offer was accepted, Allison was on top of everything and made sure every "i" was dotted and every "t" was crossed. The entire process from coming up with the offer to getting the key in hand could not have gone any smoother. I highly recommend Allison to anyone looking to buy a home; whether it may be your first or fifth, Allison will make it happen!
