Accessible, attentive, and quick!
After ages of searching, we had found a house that checked all the boxes. Unfortunately, I did not have a realtor! We had been looking so long and consistently met with seller's agents, but when the time came to make an offer we weren't confident we could do it on our own, but I was apprehensive to select a buyer's agent. From the very first phone call, Jenifer made the entire process less stressful, which freed us up to enjoy buying our first home and made me wish I had contacted her much sooner. With Jenifer's guidance we were able to go from first offer to close in about 30 days, without skipping inspections or the resulting negotiations. Jenifer put out fires on all fronts - all the while keeping us clued in and aware of the schedule. Jenifer was accessible and quick to respond to our incessant questions, and went through every document with me (and didn't make me feel bad for asking a lot of dumb questions!) When it came time to negotiate, Jenifer asked us what mattered most to us and really listened. Jenifer was also well aware of the area we were looking to buy in, and her rapport with local banks, attorneys, and inspectors made the process a breeze. (Keeping it local was important to us.) She was also very attentive during the inspection process and thought of things that would never have occurred to us as first time home buyers. If you're a local or out of towner looking to move to Southwest Vermont - Jenifer Hoffman is the only name you need to know.
