After two recent visits to Sarasota - I was actually referred to Marlin twice by locals I happened to meet including a reputable builder - and ultimately turned to him when another agent kept telling me I could only afford to live in another area of town. My home in Austin sold unexpectedly with a tight timeline to close - after much research and discussion, I flew to Sarasota with only a little over 24 hours to conduct a search. We looked at only four properties - Marlin made what seemed impossible happen - we ended up buying what we wanted - new construction w/plenty of guest, work from home and entertaining space and where we wanted to be - the best of urban - easy walking distance to restaurants and shops and beach living - a short car/bike ride to either Lido or Siesta - thanks to his listening and identifying opportunities to make it happen - we will be forever grateful.

Marlin Yoder is an incredible realtor! He sold our older, un-renovated house in three weeks for WAAAAYYYY more money that we would have dreamed! His personality is perfect for the job: he is friendly, knowledgeable, unflappable, very hard-working, and always positive. I looked forward to the times Marlin would come over because I knew that when he left, I would feel energized and excited about our home sale. And then, after that sale, he helped us in the purchase of a new home. Again, his work ethic really made the difference for us in this move. When we had a question about an inspection issue, he made numerous phone calls - all the way to the owner of the company - to learn more about the flagged item so that he could explain it to us clearly so that we could make an informed decision. Finally, Marlin has a community of service providers in his tool box. Anytime we wanted something done - power-washing, inspection, photographer - he made referrals and we were never disappointed. I have known many realtors, but none were as well-rounded as Marlin Yoder. He was referred to me by my brother who thought he was wonderful and I refer him to anyone needing a realtor because he IS wonderful!
