Melanie's knowledge of the specific neighborhoods we were interested in and her sound advice during our search was invaluable to our success. She was tireless and patient...particularly since we are coming into the area from out of state. She showed us a number of listings, wrote multiple offers and finally helped us navigate into a contract and closing...all during the initial several months when Coronavirus was impacting everything and everyone was trying to figure out the "new way" of doing business. That was then...now, as we still reside in another state, she continues to "watch out" for us. She visits our home several times a week and does various things for us that we can't do. Very willingly and very selflessly. It's greatly appreciated. We liked her spirit and ethic from the first time we met her several years before actually asking her to help find a new home for us. We respect and trust her. Anyone doing business with her will understand this sentiment. She's become our friend.

Initially, when I met with Melanie to list, Covid was not on the horizon. There were a few missteps in communication when we started and I worried that I had made a mistake in my selection. As we moved forward, the restrictions came into place and I left the area for safety reasons, taking only the barest minimum of my things. Melanie continued to show the house (after she cleaned, decorated, staged, and repaired!). After the 1st buyers' inspection, she scheduled and showed up for electrical and plumbing repairs. AND THEN, when the sale went through, she packed up all my remaining stuff and put in my POD for shipping--all at a very minimal cost to me. She also sold things I did not want to move (for a commission). I did not have to return to FL to close up the house in the midst of a growing pandemic. I will be forever grateful to her for all she did and would recommend her highly to anyone needing a realtor to go the extra mile for them. Thank you, Melanie King!

On our vacation trip to Florida (St Petersburg/Clearwater) in October 2013 we fell in love with white beaches, weather, people, food.
