Buying a house is stressful. Everyone knows that. But the experience can be particularly stressful for first time homebuyers. Little did we know that most of the stress can be mitigated, explained, and managed with the help of a great Realtor. That's where Julia came in. We were dealt a difficult hand. At the start of our home searching endeavors, the market was bursting with other equally excited buyers trying to take advantage of the unbelievable low interest rates. That meant the inventory was small and houses were flying off the market within a week of being posted. Julia took this challenge in stride and made herself available at every juncture. She constantly sent us houses, took us to viewings, helped us make informed, and educated offers, and made our search exciting and something we looked forward to each day. We started the process on January 1st of 2021 and closed March 1st of the same year. We were absolutely blown away by how professional, honest, informed, and energetic Julia was. She was incredibly sensitive to our particular needs and took all of our inquiries seriously. We were in constant contact with her and she outlined every step of the process to help ease some of the general anxieties we felt from time to time. She consistently reached out to the seller’s agents, our mortgage company, different utility companies, and even other colleagues and other personal contacts to make sure we were taken care of every step of the way. We seriously owe her so so much and she was such a pleasure to work with. We are now proud homeowners and would definitely recommend her services and expertise to any friends or family considering purchasing or selling a home. Gemma helped me purchase my first place and made the process so seamless and so much less terrifying! I made my decision to put in an offer on a Saturday, and we beat out 3 other offers (on the first try) and had an acceptance by Sunday evening. She knew exactly how much to offer so that we could have the upper-hand. I didn’t know a thing about buying a home but she answered all my questions and took care of EVERYTHING. I never once felt overwhelmed as she took the time to describe our next few steps, but helped me focus on the immediate tasks rather than piling everything on me at once. Gemma made the experience feel easy and exciting and when I need an agent again I will only trust her!
