If you are looking to buy property in Detroit, I highly recommend you work with Ron Coleman as your real estate agent. As and out of state investor, it was essential l for me to have someone I could trust to be my “feet on the ground” in Detroit and Ron truly went above and beyond my expectations. He helped me every step of the way, from knowing which neighborhoods to invest in, to scouting out interesting properties, making offers, lining up inspections, negotiating, and even helping me with the post-sale handoff to the property management company. It was also really important for me as an out of state investor to work with a very communicative agent. After getting shown a few homes by the homes own agents, (not impressed) we found Marcia and stuck with her. She is very personable and friendly! Marcia was very knowledgeable in the housing market and in the history of the homes. She has excellent expertise in the whole buying process and helped us more than our lender. She had great communication skills and set showings up to work around our hectic schedules. She is honest and told us what to look for and if there were any red flags. She was extremely patient and never pushed any houses on us. It took awhile to find the right home but because she was patient and only showed us houses we actually would consider we found our dream home. I feel we got the best house in the area in our price range! I recommend Marcia to everyone that wants to feel at peace with knowing you bought the right house!
