"Angie is AWE-SOME. Hyperbole? Nope. Here's a bit of background on me and the kind of P.I.T.A. I was: 1. I live out of State 2. I had a very specific idea of what I wanted, and wasn't terribly flexible (stoopid HOAs...) 3. My timeline was open-ended 4. I am a value-minded investor and had a limited budget. Most realtors might have scoured listings once or twice and then given up on me - not Angie. Dear Angie, I just wanted to take a minute and thank you more formally for all the wonderful work you have done and continue to do on our behalf in selling our home, and especially in servicing the sale since you sold the, what, 3 contracts? . . . When we first met you, we were impressed by your thoroughness and professionalism. But I must say that in actual fact, we underestimated all of that. You have far exceeded our fondest hopes. Think about this. We had our home appraised about six months ago. You came in and showed us that the appraisal was not thorough, and you used sound methodology to arrive at a better price. That better (asking) price exceeded the appraisal by $150,000. Then, you went out and got a primary and backup contract that very nearly matched the asking price. And you even brought in a third contract. In the meantime, we had at least five verbal offers, all during the first week the sign was posted out front. Now, this occurred during the time when the market has decidedly turned to mush with the explosion of inventory . . . a buyer's market such as we have not seen in years.
