•We were interested in buying a home in SC. For several months, we had been dealing with another realtor strictly on line. The day came when we were supposed to meet this other realtor. My husband and I made the arrangements and drove 14 hours from NY. We had a couple of small red flags the previous weeks, but didn’t think much of them, chalking it up to long distance interactions with the realtor. The morning we were supposed to meet with the realtor, he told us to go drive around the properties and if we saw anything we liked to give him a call. That was it. I fired him on the spot. Now what were we to do? A friend of mine ( in NY) had given me her friends name and number who is a realtor in SC just in case. Thankfully, I brought that number with me. I called Kathy D. The first thing she said was, I don’t have anything prepared, but give me an hour. An hour later, we were meeting with Kathy in her office. She apologized to us because she was wearing shorts and sneakers, not her normal professional work attire. Really??? We interrupted her day off, she came to our rescue at the very last moment, and could not have been any nicer! Kathy pulled together several properties for us to look at and made arrangements for us to meet with builders ( which btw the other realtor said we couldn’t do unless we were buying right then and there). We fell in love with one particular home in a DR Horton community. We made our decision! Closings in NY are much different and take much longer than a closing in SC. But all the while, Kathy maintained constant contact. Kathy went above and beyond for us, she did walk thoughs while face timing us, she dealt with builders etc. Everything Kathy has done for us was always with grace and a smile. After 3 months, we finally closed on our beautiful home. We cant thank Kathy enough for all she’s done. Im happy to say, we also have made a lifelong friend! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts Kathy! You are the best and we love you!
Kathy was just the greatest! She helped us on so many levels, the purchase of the house was so easy. She spent so much time making sure we were happy every step of the way. She went above and beyond several times helping us out on other issues related to buying the house. If you want an agent who is going to give you 150% of herself to make sure you get what you want without an ounce of pressure, then Kathy is your agent. Thank you so much Kathy!
