More Than a Realtor — Five Stars Aren’t Enough!

Full disclosure—Nora Nelson is my mother\. But after having her as my Realtor, I can honestly say I now understand exactly why her clients love her so much\. I’ve always known my mom is incredibly hardworking and dedicated, but watching her handle the sale of our home gave me an entirely new appreciation for what she does for her clients\. Our sale was anything but easy\. We went through THREE different offers before finally making it to the closing table, and Nora handled every twist, turn, negotiation and setback along the way\. And somewhere in her job description, apparently “therapist” was included, because she had to talk me off the ledge more than a few times\! 😂 She didn’t just list our home and wait for it to sell\. She helped stage it, personally greeted Realtors, made sure everything was perfect for showings, and even stayed at our home when needed so she could oversee things herself\. She was completely invested in getting our home sold and getting us to the finish line\. Being her daughter may make me biased, but it also gave me a front\-row seat to see what most clients probably never see—the hours behind the scenes, the constant phone calls, the problem\-solving, the attention to every little detail, and how personally she takes the responsibility of getting the job done\. Through all three offers, she somehow managed to be my Realtor, negotiator, problem solver, voice of reason, therapist—and, of course, my mom\. I couldn’t be prouder to say she’s my mother, but after this experience, I’m equally proud to say **Nora Nelson was my Realtor\.** If you want someone who will truly show up, fight for you, calm you down when you’re ready to lose your mind, and treat the sale of your home as if it were her own, call Nora\.
