If anyone ever asks for a recommendation on a real estate agent the only name I'll give them is Mike Sakey! He made the process of finding a home a pleasure. The first showing we went to he took us aside and told us "I don't think this is your house" and proceeded to point out all the likely problems we would face if we purchased it and how the listing was wildly inflated. After looking at many more houses and being outbid on the several we liked, we were able to find our perfect home and have our offer accepted for $20k below listing. We then had about every issue possible come up between home inspection, mortgage companies and lawyers... and Mike was there through the whole process to help us get through it. We closed right before Christmas and now have a perfect home to raise our daughter!
