Negotiation Skills

As a real estate broker for 30 years, I really appreciated the fact that Bree knew how to listen when my husband and I gave her our requirements for a home as we made a move from northern California to Rancho Santa Fe. 3 of the 5 homes shown to us by Bree on our only trip south were 'right on target'...the other two were calibration 'stretches' of our requirements. It was an easy decision to select Bree as our exclusive buy-side agent out of the 3 agents we interviewed for the job. She previewed a number of properties with us via Compass's excellent web site Within a week, she identified a candidate property and did a walk-through video tour of the 'perfect' house for us. We made an offer that was accepted based on that video tour, and when we saw the house a couple weeks later, it exceeded our expectations. Our very smooth Escrow closed yesterday. Throughout the process, Bree efficiently addressed the routine issues that come-up in any Escrow. She delivered valuable value-add services such as providing us with a number of service providers she has used that we'll be using as well. She went above/beyond to be our 'remote hands' in Rancho Santa Fe on a number of tasks that would otherwise have required us to make trips to the area before closing. Aside from just being a nice, pleasant, low-pressure agent, she very quickly internalized our needs, wants, and priorities, which made our search very efficient and allowed us to quickly make our decision in a very tight buyer's market. We can't say enough about Bree's professionalism and follow-through. My husband says, other than my wife, there is no other agent that I have worked with that compares to Bree.
