Would certainly recommend Joelle. She's attuned to Compass's resources and otherwise was very quick and thorough with local recommendations for things we needed to prep our house to sell. She also has good intuition for staging, marketing, language for listing, and has connections with professionals who can offer more advice on that and other areas. We liked her strategy for listing price, but she was certainly open to working out what we were comfortable with on that really crucial step. She was also very well in touch and up to speed on processes without pushing things at any point, and was really amenable to what we were able to do and comfortable doing—never got the impression she would strong-arm us into anything. Overall, just very professional, responsive, has good instincts, and jibed with our personalities. Was a pleasure working with her.

Joelle just helped my wife and me find our first house together and we can't say enough good things about her! As first-time buyers, we were very intimidated by the process - especially trying to buy somewhere as competitive as the Boston area in the middle of an infamously inflationary market. Not to mention that we also had to relocate from almost a thousand miles away! Thankfully, this initial impression was spot on - if anything, we might have underestimated Joelle! The experience that my husband and I had with Joelle could not have been better. Joelle had reached out to me through a facebook page where I posted stating we were going to begin house hunting in Melrose, MA as a first time home buyer. From our first interaction, Joelle was trying to help, with no strings attached. I felt I could trust her right from the beginning, and from our first zoom meeting, my husband and I felt we'd made a great choice. Joelle was pleasant and fun to tour homes with, was very knowledgeable about the area we were house hunting in, and is very knowledgeable about homes- things like circuit breakers, retaining walls, and many things my husband and I were not well informed about as first time home buyers. She would often point out negatives in homes that we never would've recognized being new to the process. She was responsive day and night, and no matter how ridiculous the question, she was patient with us and supported us through a stressful process. Joelle has a lot of strategies that she recommends her clients to use when making an offer on a house, and with following everything she recommended, our offer was accepted on the first house we offered on. The ONE snafu we ran into in the whole process was with our mortgage company that we'd found on our own (instead of using one Joelle recommended). If I could advise anyone interested in buying a home in Joelle's area of expertise, use her recommended staff to assist with the process. Joelle is truly an expert in her field, a trustworthy and kind person, and I could not recommend her more highly. If you trust and do as she advises, you'll get the home of your dreams.

Joelle is absolutely amazing. She is extremely dedicated, honest, and very knowledgeable. She walked me through the entire process and was always available to answer questions and to see properties even on short notice! I felt as though she truly cared about finding a good fit for me and in the end we found the perfect home for me. I loved seeing places with her because she would see things (good or bad) that I didnt pick up on. I knew I could really trust her! We had a bad experience with the first agent and switch to Joelle with The Orton Group. It was one of the best life decisions we have made! Joelle is the best real estate agent in the über competitive greater Boston area market. Her Experience, patience and kindness make her a perfect first time buyers agent but she would just as wonderful if you were buying or selling your 5th home.
