•Jennifer sold me my first home in Greenport 10 years ago. My life took an unexpected turn at the start of this year, and I needed to downsize as my business is ending. Jennifer listen thoughtfully and started giving me advice, and we started looking at homes in January. When I would nervously say what about this one . Jen always said I would have told you if 'that' one fit your needs. I know what you are looking for. We found it! and through Jen's connections I got my new home before the house went on the active market. I didn't overpay to get this result--it was a thoughtful offer made to get the deal noticed and stop any viewings . As the house was so right . Flash forward to April. Jen wanted to show my house at its best, so in the springtime. Since i had a closing date of June this worked out perfectly for me. The house was carefully and beautifully staged, i got rid of/stored things that were not necessary and honestly, my home never looked better. To that end, there was an open house on my home on a Sunday and that Friday/five days later--we closed deal for well over asking . I was sitting in a restaurant in London (was on a business trip the Saturday before the open house, until the Sunday after the sale!) when Jen called me to give me the best offer she had received. In a few short days there was keen interest, and Jen fielded offers on my behalf. The end result was wonderful. Throughout this entire process Jen was there for me. Giving calm advice and guidance when I was over-thinking or thinking too far ahead. This brought me great peace of mind, knowing that someone completely had my back, my best interests at heart. I would recommend Jennifer Benton to everyone searching for a home, if they want thoughtful, curated service to this process. She really does know best, and for a buy/sell situation? It was as stress-"Less" as possible. I love my new home; it's just right for me, and my new life. Mary Anne Thompson
