Upon initial meeting with Abby, she was very nice and supportive, which made my decision to work with her easy. However, things are not always as they appear. When me and my significant other found a house that we fell in love with, she was more than willing to work to get what we wanted. However, this is where things became distorted and her true professionalism and ethics came to light. Abby manipulated certain situations that we were not comfortable about throughout the home buying process and did not explain many important details that may have altered our decision, just to make a sale on the home and collect commission. She was not transparent about certain financial aspects and even went so far as to omit information about certain documents that were pivotal in our decision to move forward on purchasing this home. She pacified our concerns instead of being honest about the situation and continued to play the role of the concerned realtor when things were being called into question. Once the sale was complete, she continued her role of the "concerned realtor" until she stopped all communication, leaving us confused, humiliated and upset. She placed much blame on the seller's realtor , when it was her the entire time. Abby Greenberg failed us in so many ways and it is disheartening to write this because this was supposed to be a joyous milestone in my life and it was nothing close to that. I am not writing this as a disgruntled client completely, but as a means to caution others that Abby will not be completely honest about things, especially important things that you, as the consumer would need to know when purchasing a home . Despite my gut telling us to walk way, she would then manipulate the situation to make things appear to be resolved, when in fact it was not. I would not recommend anyone who wants a reputable realtor to consider Abby as she is likely to do this again to someone else and ruin their home buying experience.
