•If you talk to prospective home buyers about the thought of buying their first home, they would probably feel as my wife and I did; intimidated and overwhelmed. Let’s face it, if you are spending that kind of money and making life altering decisions, it is serious business. The best decision first time home buyers can make is building a team of people around them that are knowledgeable and have your best interests in mind. The tip of that spear is a realtor and we were lucky enough to find and befriend Denise Morrissey when we moved to Long Island. Denise is extremely knowledgeable about the most important inner workings of a house (foundation, plumbing, electric, heating/cooling, etc.). She knows and understands the neighborhoods in Long Island and understands the entire buying/selling process backwards and forwards. She responds to communications quickly and is always there to help and guide inexperienced home buyers. We are very happy with our house and with Denise on our side, there were no surprises or hiccups in the entire process. We built a trusting relationship with Denise that will outlast our first home purchase and she comes highly recommended to anyone in a similar situation as us.
