•Sometimes after the listing contract is signed, agents can take a backseat. Not Kate, she spends hours making sure the selling process runs smoothly. She prepared the house for each showing and went by the property after to ensure everything was closed up. Being out town, having her take care of the repair request list was invaluable. She has a lot of contacts to ensure repairs are done professionally and at a reasonable price. She is so committed to her work that she even was available to help the buyer (navigating a few things in the house and helping with a walk through). There is a constant attention to detail. Even the day of the move, she was busy helping me tidy up the home, there’s always something you forget. Throughout the listing, she returned my calls promptly and took the time to explain the details of any documents I signed. Her knowledge of the Moss creek and the Hilton Head area is extensive (resident for over 20 years). The marketing she does with beautiful professional brochures (including information about the community and the area), youtube videos, using a professional videographer really helped showcase the house (home brochures were some of the best I have ever seen). Selling a house can be a bit stressful, but I truly felt Kate had everything under control. The attorney she works with is extremely professional and was available to answer any of my questions or concerns. From start to finish, Kate handled everything that came up. Her commission was well worth the expense. I am so grateful for her help. She was my listing agent, but I know she would make an excellent buyer’s agent as well.
