•The short story - I met Rebecca on December 4th. On December 24th, I accepted an offer that was higher than my asking price. The longer story is even better. After touring my house, Rebecca asked what I was hoping to get. When I told her the price, the condition (as is), and the terms (cash) I wanted, she said that seemed reasonable. Although most of the furniture and contents had been moved, the house was not empty, the basement was a mess, and the garden appeared challenging rather than attractive. She was able to work around and respect my needs, and coordinate schedules so showing the house while emptying it was not a problem for either of us. In addition to recommending some minor changes and giving access to cleaners, she calmly relayed questions and concerns from prospective buyers. To my great relief, and the disappointment of the neighbors, my house sold without the spectacle of an open house. I can’t imagine a better outcome or a less traumatic process, all thanks to Rebecca Agosta.
