Gee, Time ... Goes By So-o Quickly !!!

It just seems like yesterday that Sid and I met Elaine on that late Sunday afternoon in 2005. He was in Brookhaven and I was in Slidell, Louisiana with only weekends to find a house. She was the agent "on call that weekend." Hurricane Katrina had destroyed everything! We needed a place to live and the rest, well, Elaine and Betsy Smith Reality were there to help. BUT that did not stop Elaine in mid- November! From here list of possible houses in our price range and my limited viewing time, we all found the right house, 101 Avenue A ! By December, just before Christmas, the house (and the furnishings which we negotiated with the owner's down-sizing) was OURS ! And that was only the beginning ! Elaine was one of the top agents at Betsy Smith Reality ! She knew people, their wants and needs and she and her, husband, helped us to get to know Brookhaven. She, Betsy and Betsy's family provided us with what we needed, their friendship, as well as places to shop to places of worship. AND that continued even after the passing of Betsy and my husband, Sid, in 2021. When it came time to sell and move closer to family with the top agent and again my busy work schedule, it was a "no brainer" as to who would be my agent !!! She was there and did a fabulous job from showing the property to closing ! Elaine gets special praises for the closing ! Things went smoothly for me, but she had to tackle date problems on the sellers side. Thanks to her skills, she kept everyone on top of the situation. When the final closing came for the seller, Elaine was there to even put my check in my bank ! And my move was completed on time. P.S. Elaine knows "her stuff and gets results !!!"
