Bertera-Barber Real Estate

From the moment we started we had no idea how to buy a home. Janel with her knowledge in the field broke down everything. Once we found the home we loved she worked out everything and ensured the home was solid. Negotiation was a breeze and got the best price within our range of approval. She’s checked in through every step even after move in. You can tell shes knowledgeable in her field and no stone was left unturned. Thank you again!

Janel was easy to work with and great at communicating. She answered every question we had in a timely manner!

Janel is an amazing realtor. She has excellent experience and was an absolute pleasure to work with. She works hard from start to finish and, even after closing, is proactive and available if problems arise. She stepped in and took care of a major problem that was identified after closing with the property. She went to check on the property multiple times after closing to make sure the property was still in good condition and not damaged until the problem that was unexpectedly identified after closing was resolved. She also proceeded to correct the problem and restore the property to working conditions. As she said, she is in it for the long haul! Absolutely amazing realtor!!! I am speechless as to all she did for me as the buyer not only throughout the real estate transaction but even after closing when a problem arose. I would highly recommend her and I will definitely use her again for any real estate transactions. Janel is an excellent realtor and a wonderful person! She was referred to me with high recommendations and I share those high recommendations!!!!

Janel was recommended very highly by someone who helps me with my retirement plans. He couldn't say enough good things about her having known her 20 years or more. Everything he said was true. We were looking for someone help us find a forever home and I was picky, She was patient. She never rushed or pushed or judged us. She helped us find a place and led us through every detail. We just closed and everything is going well. She takes good care of her extended family and definitely spoils her grandchildren. She took care of us. Thank you, Janel. All the best.

Joe was a great realtor to work with. He is knowledgeable about lakefront properties and willing to go the extra mile for his clients. We were very anxious sellers, having already bought another house across the state. Joe was patient with us throughout the process. We vetted him alongside two other Realtors. He did his homework with a thorough market analysis and his overall personality were the two things that won our business. He had great communication with us throughout the process and was willing to do multiple open houses. Though it was an extremely stressful process for us, in hindsight, our house was under contract in less than a month nd it's all because of him. Thank you Joe!

Kept us informed and up to date during several challenges. Was very supportive in our contingent offer and requirements. Never felt stressed or worried even through changes in buyers and appraisal concerns. Joe did a great job of communicating directly and honestly to both Ashley and me. We had several challenges with our first buyer and ultimately needed to walk away from the offer. Joe handled it perfectly and we were able to line up a new buyer the same day.
