Our daughter & her husband put their Pikesville MD townhome on the market ca last August, via a well-known Baltimore realtor. The realtor suggested asking $224.9k. I looked at comps and became bewildered as those comp were being listed for $250k - $270k. So I suggested they list it, if memory serves me right, for $265k. For three months nothing happened, even after they lowered the price to $255k. So after they were offered $220k in November, I began to realize that the townhome was not in "selling shape." So they terminated that realtor's services, and hired Maria, after I approached Berkshire Hathaway Home Services, and they referred me to Maria. Maria immediately began putting in real time & effort. We invested ~$11.5k in painting, cleaning, repairing some minor items, and staging. Maria took care of the organization of this transition, and the townhome was listed in early January for $278k.
