Maryann really helped us obtain a home we really are happy with. She went out of her way to test the appliances for proper working conditions. She even climbed over the clothes dryer to verify that the seller corrected the clothes dryer's vent. Maryann also provided us with numerous e-mail listings for my wife and I to view, so that we did not waste our time looking at houses we really would not be interested in.

Since this was an Estate sale, JoAnn had to deal with more than one of us at a time, which I am sure was a daunting project. Maryann is the realtor I chose to sell my house because she is efficient, well prepared, perceptive and thorough. Maryann demonstrated her efficiency and preparedness the moment she contacted me. A neighbor of mine commented that I was preparing to sell my home and gave her my phone number. Maryann contacted me the next day. She was already informed about the size of my property, current tax information and other information publicly available. We set up a date to meet and she came to my home with a bound comparative analysis of comparable homes. It included homes that were on the market, under contract and recently sold. The booklet gave me a clear understanding of how competitive the market is and what to expect. Maryann also was prepared with an appropriate suggested selling price. I was truly impressed. Before meeting Maryann I met with a realtor from a different agency. It took that realtor two weeks to get back to me with a recommended selling price and when she did it was $23,000 lower than what Maryann suggested. Not only was Maryann’s better for me, it was appropriate. I had an offer on the house after just five days of it being on the market. Maryann is also thorough and perceptive. She toured my house and walked the property. She sat at my kitchen table and asked me all sorts of questions while she wrote the answers in her notebook. When she left she had detailed notes of my home and a good sense of its potential.She said to me that she was thinking about what potential buyers would say. Maryann looked at my home knowing what its selling points were but also had the foresight to see a buyer’s point of view. That perceptiveness proved invaluable when the after the buyer’s inspector provided his report. Maryann is an approachable, experienced professional.
