Jon and Theresa are professional, reliable, extremely knowledgeable and fabulous to work with. They know the area and the market. I truly appreciated their combined willingness to answer my many questions and they communicated with me every step of the way. They also walked me through the sales paperwork once my house was sold. I knew my house an I were in good hands.

This is our second time working directly with Theresa as a buyer and things went flawlessly both times, she is very attentive and easy to work with! We would highly recommend her.

When we decided to sell our lot, we knew Theresa was the only one for the job! Having worked with her before, we knew we would be in perfect hands! Her knowledge of the Community, competitive pricing and professionalism are second to none. She is always available and helpful with any questions or concerns. Theresa is very friendly and extremely reliable! Working with her is easy, and stress free! We are grateful for her hard work, friendliness and excellent skills! She is always true to her word- if she says she’s going to do something- you can count on it! We highly recommend Theresa! If we have any real estate needs in the future, she will be my first call!

Punctual communicator. Abundance of knowledge pertaining to the real estate market. Had numerous strategies to get a home sold at the best price.

From beginning to closing Theresa was on top of it. Professional and was sympathetic to our needs. I needed yard work done and she sent some one reliable and reasonable. Closing went off without a hitch due to all the bases being covered. I have recommended Theresa to a close friend of mine and will use her services again.

I met Theresa a few years ago when she showed me some properties in the West Jefferson area. When it came time to sell my beloved Log Cabin, I knew who to call. Her and John provided timely answers for all my questions and guided me skillfully through the listing and selling process. I will absolutely use them again for any real estate needs that I have in the West Jefferson/Boone area. They are a pleasure to work with and are very knowledgeable about the local market conditions!

Theresa did an amazing job from start to finish from writing the offer to helping us see everything through the filing of the deed. Could not recommend her enough!!

Jon and Theresa know everything about the area, helped us narrow down what we truly wanted in a house, and gave us tons of advice. They were super responsive, excellent communicators, very thorough, know everyone including who to go to for what, and very professional. Fun to work with. Excellent value in working with them!

We couldn't be happier with our experience working with Theresa to sell our land in Wilkes County. Their communication throughout the entire process was outstanding, they kept us informed every step of the way and were always available to answer our questions. What really stood out was their extensive knowledge of the local market. They provided valuable insights that helped us price and position our property effectively. Thanks to their expertise, the entire experience was hassle-free from start to finish. We highly recommend Theresa to anyone looking to buy or sell property in Wilkes County!

The Gatewoods are simply said..the best agents in the mountain area. Their knowledge of the land is amazing. They walked us through the properties and even helped us to mark off the best site for a house that would give us the best view. This is raw land and we would have had to do a lot of work to figure out the things that the Gatewoods already knew how to do because of their knowledge of Buck Mountain. They never pushed us to make any decisions and no matter how long in between calls..they were always willing to help us. If you choose to work with them, you will not be disappointed.

The Gatewoods were able to accomplish the almost impossible in a soft market. Our condo sold the day after it listed. Their photographer took some of the most complimentary pictures of our unit I've ever seen and the consistency of help and answering questions was there from start to finish. Thank you Theresa and Jon for making this WAY easier than expected!

Theresa and her husband were an absolute breath of fresh air! They helped us for months to locate just the right mountain getaway for our family. Theresa was always available to answer any questions or help in any way possible. Both she and her husband’s professionalism was beyond any we had ever worked with. We will use Gatewood for all our future real estate needs. We highly recommend-5 stars!!
