Bottom Line: It pays who you work with and if you work with Rick, you will get more than just an expert realtor. You will receive a mentor, educator, and advocate. When I interviewed Rick, I knew that he was our guy. Although I have bought and sold multiple houses, he completely transformed how I understood real estate and the market. He educated me on our options as well as prepared me for my future conversations with lenders. Lenders were astounded with my knowledge of top tier lending information, allowing me to compare far more data than what I had in previous transactions and select the best deal for my family’s financial goals. Rick prioritizes his time with his clients so while you are with him at showings, he ensures you have his undivided attention. With each showing, he not only pointed out key facts about this home, both positive and negative, but took time to explain Texas-specific features so I would know how to properly maintain the home. What is most important to Rick is his loyalty to his client. Therefore, he will aggressively advocate on your behalf and ensure that you are not only finding the best house, but also the best financial decision. With each house that piqued our interest, Rich thoroughly researched the property and, on more than one home, Rick flagged major issues, preventing possible financial downfalls. On other occasions, Rick spoke frankly with me on the home’s marketability and value to ensure that we did not allow our emotions to cloud what is purely a financial decision, which proved vital during the home buying process. Rick is bold and unafraid. He told me numerous times that a Realtor’s number one job is to fix problems. Rick solved more problems, some rather large ones, than I can recount.
