•My wife and I hunted for houses immediately upon arriving in Virginia. We intended to browse some neighborhoods to see what we liked, but we fell in love with a home far faster than anticipated. Although we didn't have an agent, we trusted Dianne, the selling agent, to write up a contract objectively and, if accepted, to guide us through the purchasing process. (Offers were due the day we saw the house, and there was little time to hunt for our own agent.) We had met about a dozen other agents in the area during our brief but extensive search for houses, and Dianne was the only agent we felt like we could trust to help us purchase a home despite not being represented. Our gut feeling turned out to be correct. Dianne was very honest, knowledgeable, responsive, and caring throughout the process. Although Dianne represented the sellers, we felt very comfortable working with her.
