Unbelievable Deal on Our Dream House Thanks to Expert Negotiation
Rick is an exemplary professional who skillfully blends white-glove, 5-star service with a bulldog mentality and expert dealmaking skills. We hired him with high hopes based on his impressive credentials and track record, and yet he managed to surpass our highest expectations with surgical precision and a mastery of his craft. We did Rick absolutely no favors with our search criteria; we wanted a larger-than-average, turnkey house in a very specific geographic area...in one of the most sought-after neighborhoods in North Dallas. But if there's one thing Rick lives for, it is the thrill of facing down a challenge and accomplishing the impossible. The first step in Rick's master plan was one of education. Through a process that involved going on over 20 in-person house tours and combing through hundreds of listings, Rick patiently taught us to be our own home inspectors -- to be able to walk up to a house, find red flags, assess value, and above all, to approach the home-buying process with the practiced eye of a seasoned investor. Armed with this education, we narrowed down our search to a handful of listings, and at this point Rick switched from educator to negotiating tactician with devastating effectiveness. Through the ensuing months, he led us through offers and counter-offers, and we waited out the competition for the perfect moment to land our dream house during the off-season. Rick absolutely pulled off the impossible, landing our dream house within our budget and over $200k under initial list price, with repairs credited and appliances included!! We are so grateful to him for guiding us through our first home purchase.
