•My husband and I lived in Killeen, Texas and we had a dream of owning land. We wanted to get away from city life, to live the quiet county life, a smaller town to raise our teenage son in. We dreamed of owning our own piece of Texas, but, we had no idea where we wanted that to be. East Texas reminded me of where I grew up, with the tall pines and breathtaking forests, a paradise for both kids and adults! My husband and I both agreed that we would start our broad search, all over east Texas. After 5 long years of looking at different options, dealing with numerous realtors who didn't seem very invested in helping us, we came across a listing we were extremely interested in and finally met a realtor that was interested in making our dream a reality. Being that we lived hours away and both worked full time, looking at properties was sometimes a bit of a challenge, but April worked hard to meet the needs of when we had available time. She really took it to heart and listened to what we were wanting for our family. I knew once I met April, that she cared and wanted our dreams to come true as much as we did. My family and I fell in love with the area and after having the pleasure of meeting April and then having lunch at her parents farm to table restaurant, we knew that we had found home. The house we were originally looking at didn't pan out but neither her or us were going to give up. April found us the place of our dreams, a place I was even hesitant about looking at but thankfully she insisted that we see it. It was our last stop and now our forever home. April went above and beyond to make sure that we were successful and happy with the next chapter of my family's lives. We couldn't have asked for a better person to work with on making our dreams come true!
Very happy and thankful to have had Connie Strban help us with everything from showings us homes and managing expectations as first time buyers to explanation of the home loan approval process to finally closing on our new home.
