•Ruthie Ober recently handled the sale of my home following the death of my wife, and my purchase of a condominium. She also had previously handled the sale of my father’s home following his passing. Needless to say, this was a very difficult time, and I was in no mood to tolerate endless showings, or to entertain lowball offers indefinitely. I just wanted it to be over with quickly at a price that would allow me to move on. Ruthie fully understood my position. We had an offer on my home within a week that I accepted. However, I considered the demands following the home inspection to be excessive and unreasonable. I told Ruthie to reject the offer without countering. I was fully prepared to blow the deal, but Ruthie wasn’t. She worked tirelessly, forced me to keep my eye on the ball and was a calming and thoughtful influence during a difficult negotiation. Could the deal have been more financially beneficial or the concessions less excessive? Who knows? Ruthie did exactly what I asked her to do and guided me skillfully through what was a painful period of my life. We closed on both the house and the condo on the same day allowing a seamless move. I am thrilled in my new condo, and as they say “All is well that ends well” I would highly, and without reservation, recommend Ruthie for your real estate needs. Sincerely, Bob Polewski
