•My son was tired of throwing his money away renting. He wanted to buy but had no ideas about how. He knew the general area he wanted to live in but that was about it. Elsie was recommended to him from another person who was familiar with her work and knew she was reliable, honest and trustworthy. She worked him through the whole process start to finish. There were many hurdles on the other side and some financing challenges. Elsie was there for all of it. From the hard to understand details, to the help with negotiations, to the occasional “verbal hug”. She is the best you could ask for in an Agent, friend and a person. She is good people. We consider her part of our family and will tell everyone we know about her.
Let's face it, Real Estate folks are a dime a dozen. Seems like everyone has someone they know who does real estate. For some, it is a side gig. They have a day job and are hoping to score some extra money with a side hustle. For others, it is their part time job along with another part time job or two and sadly, in both instances, they tend to be 100% focused on you and your needs, “part of the time”. For the folks that do it 100% of the time, there are “sharks” in the business who are all about the money and make so clear, that you do not want to be in the same room, much less do business with them. And then there are people like Elsie Scalia…referred to us by a family member in real estate. He was not familiar with our area and did not want to do us a dis-service. He said he knew just the perfect person and he was right. Elsie worked with our family. She was patient and kind. She was quick to get back to us, guided us through the entire process and at no time did we ever question if she “had our back”. She has a team of people to help get you through the steps from “We will take it” to “It’s finally ours”. I cannot recommend her enough. It is one of the biggest decisions you can make and after going through it with her, you too will say, “I know someone great” when you are asked if you know someone in real estate.
