•As a young couple with comparatively limited financial resources, we were not sure whether it would be possible to purchase a home in Beacon Hill, a desirable neighborhood where properties generate multiple cash offers (for tens of thousands of dollars over asking price) within days of being listed for sale. After looking for over a year, we found our dream home, but never imagined it would be ours as there were 26 showings the first day. Against all odds, Joe Schutt was able to get our offer accepted before the open house - employing his knowledge of the market to guide us with respect to the amount to bid and his relationship with the other broker to convey to the seller that we were responsible, well-qualified buyers who had long-standing ties to the neighborhood and would be a wonderful fit for the building. We moved in last week and are still pinching ourselves. Joe went above and beyond to facilitate all aspects of the sale and there is simply no way we would have been able to purchase our home had we gone with any other realtor. We are enormously grateful for all that he has done for us and cannot recommend him highly enough.
