•"I connected with Zach Thorstenson by chance through the Realtor.com app when my husband and I decided it was time to begin looking for a new home in a new state. We chose Longview, Washington for a variety of reasons, of which our main reason was to get out of Central Texas. We'd been looking at listings for older homes and also had an interest in a new Lennar development as Lennar was offering lower interest rates and lower home prices overall. On a whim, I decided to press the "Contact an agent" button for one of the older homes and was pleasantly surprised when Zach called me back almost immediately.Zach is from Longview and, it turned out, lives in the Lennar development where we eventually ended up choosing a home. In early September 2023, I flew by myself to Portland, OR and drove to Longview, WA. During my 2 day stay, Zach graciously drove me around Longview/Kelso not only to tour the homes we were interested in but also sharing with me the key features of the area and answering any questions which popped up. Unfortunately, my husband (still in Leander, TX w/our children) found out through our Texas realtor that we wouldn't be able to sell our Tx home and be able to make enough money from the sale in order to put the necessary down payment on the home we chose in Longview.Zach came to the rescue by not giving up! He continued to monitor Lennar's website and talk with Melinda, the point of contact for the Lennar development.Within weeks Zach texted me that Lennar lowered the price of our desired home enough for us to make everything work. We began the process of selling our Texas home and buying our Washington home. Zach was with us from afar in Washington every step of the way. He acted as our proxy for all guided tours of the WA home as building was being completed and his hands-on nature was comforting as we believed he did everything he could to make the process go smoothly. We've now been in our new home for a week and absolutely love it! Thanks Zach
