•We decided to purchase our first house during one of the most competitive times in recent memory. We are so thankful that we did so with Martha Brown. Martha was a perfect guide for us; she was infinitely patient with all our first time buyer questions, taught us how to evaluate what type of house and location would work for us, and helped us understand ways to make our offer competitive. In addition to all this, Martha was a fantastic cheerleader throughout the whole process! There are many things about working with Martha that stuck out to us but one of the ones that made us think "yes, we made the right choice with our agent!" was that at every open house we went to (and there were many!) Martha was always fully engaged -- pointing out what we might have missed, following up with the seller's agent, or suggesting ways that the house would fit our lifestyle. The people with whom we worked: seller's agents, inspectors, contractors, and others always had a good word about her. It's clear she is not only incredibly knowledgeable but also well respected within her industry -- that's someone you want working for you! We landed our dream home -- a 2 family in the hyper competitive Arlington market -- earlier this year. The process from the excitement of the acceptance through the paperwork of the closing was made so efficient and less stressful by working with Martha. She was happy to explain all the steps that would be required to close and was a wealth of information and assistance with an amazing attention to detail. While we're thrilled at having a home of our own, there is definitely a part of us that misses exploring the weekend's listings with Martha!
