I JUST BOUGHT A CASTLE!!!!! Through our Veteran in Real Estate… Buying a house takes time until it's time to buy!SO you need an agent who'll take the time to shop with you and then will pull it together fast when the moment comes. Derrick Johnson is SUPER Agent! We recently went from a phone call to closing in 3 weeks. I was trying to buy a condo 4 years ago. The broker wouldn't entertain offers over the phone. I searched for a rep and learned of Derrick through a military journal. I asked if he'd be willing to represent us.. Within 2 hours he'd found the owners, filmed the entire complex, confirmed they'd hold a note and emailed me the video. It's what we wanted. They accepted. We weren't ready to move but Derricks rental division found a tenant who's with us still. Over the next 4YEARS Derrick discussed or showed me more than 60 properties, four or five of which we negotiated on but deals never materialized. I'd be embarrassed that he put in so much time on us without a sale. But I would still get calls or emails from him on listings close to my vision. I would pursue due diligence and Derrick would make appointments, and he'd point out pitfalls only locals know. In April I spotted a place. It had a pool, a dock. Not a fixer upper but a "dresser upper"..It just needed some finishing touches. With Parties in 4 states Derrick put it together in a few hours. He ordered the inspection, engineer, furniture estimate, a pool review. There was a round of haggling but he brought it in under market and closed in ten days. After closing Derrick took me to the Electric company, the cable company and the water company. Then for an early lunch at a great Keys hideaway(Ask derrick whichLOL) As I write pelicans strut along the dock waiting for us to bring in fish in today:??)
