After a lifetime of many moves, and now as a senior, I was not looking forward to all the challenges of another out-of-state relocation. Learning about a new city, visiting it as many times as needed to find a house that would hopefully meet at least some of my wish list items, juggling the engagement of new services several states away from my northern condo that was about to be listed, and so on. Just thinking about it was exhausting. Enter Colleen Lawrence and the rest of the Linda Trevor & Co team. Seriously, a dream team. Colleen returned my initial online contact immediately and arranged a Zoom meeting the next day. In less than a week, she and I were driving in the Cary/Apex/Raleigh area armed with my list of what things would make the ideal home. Unlike agents I’ve worked with in the past, Colleen obviously studied that list in detail and picked multiple homes the first day that were strong contenders. By the next morning, we were on our way to the finalists, and by my return flight that afternoon, I had a contract on my perfect home. That was astonishing, because I typically just settle for a less than exciting house after hunting for weeks or months. Colleen not only listened to me, but she offered valuable advice and observations, sometimes on things I had not even considered or did not know because of being out of state. She provided (and continues to provide) a slew of relocation pointers that practically have eliminated the guesswork and stress from moving somewhere unfamiliar. Plus, she’s a positive, intuitive, and overall enjoyable individual with whom to work. The whole team is amazing, and Carla Belanger is a star, too, flawlessly guiding me from the day I flew home through the day of closing--it couldn’t have been easier. This is the first time I can say the entire process of purchasing a home has been fun! Thanks to everyone at Linda Trevor & Co., especially Colleen and Carla. 
