Mr. Hawkes has demonstrated great professionalism in availability, his evaluation of properties and getting everything necessary done to get a deal in a competitive market and close it. While I can say that about 10% of the agent out there, his integrity showed through when we hit a problem during closing. While Mr. Hawkes can go along with the seller agent and get the deal done improperly, leaving me responsible for the problems at a later date, Mr. Hawkes put the on hold to my best interest and got it done properly. I would conclude with all the places I was shown, all the work he has done, it was not worth it for him. But I respect his integrity and standing up for the interest of the buyer even if he has to lose the deal/commission. I couldn't say the same about my previous buyer agent who had a fake inspector lie to us to get the deal through...and this is a "proper looking" former school teacher in Bethesda. I highly recommend Mr. Hawkes to do the right things for the buyers and protect his buyer's interests even if it means he won't get paid. This man has integrity, period. Can't say that about any other agents I've met.
