Overview

This rare river access lot - 1.5 acres on the New River - is a gem. The Owners' change of plans has resulted in a $17,000 drop in price. Their change is a great benefit to you whether you're dreaming of a mountain retreat, a recreational getaway, or a long-term investment in one of Western NC's most sought after areas. This property delivers on this and so much more. You're about 200 yards away from and convenient to the well-done community river access area. Fishing, kayaking, tubing, or just plain relaxing are some of the options you have on this special property. Cultural, dining, hiking, and community benefits are close by in The Jeffersons and other charming towns in the area; and you have easy access to Boone and Blowing Rock. This gated community is one of the best in the area. A beautiful view of the river and the mountainscape await your dream home porch and rocking chair. The property has been professionally surveyed to the river and property lines and corners are well marked and visible. Efforts are underway to increase the 3 BR septic permit to 4 BR. GREAT NEWS- the steps towards a 4 BR permit are almost in place and a proposed building site is in the process of being surveyed ! For now, a well marked walking path is in place from the NRO road. Once the survey is done, the path will be even better. This lot is going to be a great homeplace for someone- don't be late! This exceptional lot has at least two good sites on which to locate your riverside mountain home. All of this and a motivated Seller could result in one of your dreams coming true!
