560+- acres of RL zoned acres located west of, and adjoining, The Lopez Lake Recreation Area. Comprised of four separate parcels: APN 048-041-001; APN 048-031-002; APN 048-031-001; and APN 048-031-007. The first three listed parcels adjoin each other, with the third parcel directly adjoining the Lake Lopez Recreation Area holdings on the west shore of the lake. The first APN includes an ocean view from it's northern portion, and also lies within the designated Lopez Oil field, although there is no current economic benefit from that location, it has a history of capped exploratory wells which located oil beneath that parcel. The fourth APN listed is located a short distance from the first 3 via an old forest road that appears to have originated at a former Camp Fire Girl's campground on the lake's west shore, but which was demolished when the lake was created. That forest road bisects the third APN and appears, via Google Earth, to traverse the forest, from the west shoreline of the lake; eventually terminating near the Cuesta Grade. Other than the forest road, the lands are undisturbed and feature seasonal streams, indigenous plants and local wildlife, suggesting an ideal future as conserved lands, land bank, long term investment, or possible development as allowed.
