Stone Canyon Ranch is a rare southeastern Colorado offering where productive ranch country, dramatic scenery, and lasting value come together across approximately 1,120 acres. Native grass, developed livestock water, seven pastures, functional improvements, a comfortable modern home, Grassland CRP income, wildlife habitat, recreation, and mineral interests create an exceptionally diverse property. The ranch is divided into seven pastures, each served by livestock water tanks, providing an efficient layout for rotational grazing and flexible livestock management. The upper ranch ranges from level to gently rolling terrain, with elevations from approximately 5,550 to 5,623 feet. Native forage includes blue grama, western wheatgrass, sideoats grama, and winterfat. From open grass-covered uplands to rugged canyon country, the ranch offers excellent agricultural and recreational appeal. The surrounding Plains country has historically offered notable elk opportunity, and wildlife observed in the area includes elk, deer, pronghorn, turkey, black bear, and mountain lion. Horseback riding, hiking, camping, wildlife watching, hunting, and ATV recreation further enhance the property's appeal. Stone Canyon Ranch offers a distinctive combination of productive grazing land, livestock infrastructure, income potential, wildlife habitat, and Colorado ranch character.
