Location, location, location is the number one factor when it comes to real estate. What this home lacks in updates, it makes up for in location. Pinebrook South is one of, if not the most sought-after, site-built homes-only neighborhood in all of Venice. Pinebrook South is "set on 250 acres in Venice, Florida, and was originally constructed in the 1970s and 1980s." Many of the homes in the neighborhood have already undergone their "rebirth", but one lucky buyer is going to have the opportunity to make this home their own. Channel your inner interior designer and bring this once-proud home back to its former glory. Some know, but many don't or haven't realized that the older style homes have a lot more to offer than new construction. Larger bedrooms and garages are just a couple of the amenities found in older homes that are rarely seen in new ones. The character exuded by most of the older homes isn't replicated these days. Older homes have a feeling of home that's hard to find in todays sterile, cookie-cutter floorplans. While the interior of the home needs some help, the exterior has been freshened up and has an attractively handsome curb appeal. A new roof was installed in July 2024. Not long after that, the entire exterior of the home was repainted, and the water heater was replaced. The HVAC was replaced in June 2019 and has been maintained twice a year since. Speaking of docks, Pinebrook South has a private, small launch located along Curry Creek. Curry Creek access will get you to the Myakka River to the east, as well as the Gulf of America access to the west, via Roberts Bay. This is kayak/paddleboard access only.
