Updating your RateMyAgent profile

Follow this handy walkthrough to complete your RateMyAgent profile

Having a full RateMyAgent profile shows your potential customers you’re serious about what you do and that you’re the one they should trust with their purchase or sale. 

 

Update your profile with your personal information by following the checklist below.

 

 

Firstly, you will need to enter the “Edit Profile” section of your RateMyAgent account. To do this log in and click your name/icon in the top right hand corner of the screen

 

Then click on the edit profile icon in the top left of the dropdown.

 

Checklist

 

1. Upload your profile picture – Having a profile picture is crucial when setting up your profile. To add yours click on the grayed out box to the top right of the image section. (#1 – see image below)
2. Upload a cover photo – This image draws the viewers attention, it can be company specific or something relevant to you. The choice is yours. To upload your cover image click on the grayed out box in the top right of the screen. (#2 – see image below)
3. Upload a banner image – A banner image is a perfect location for your company logo as you can see in the example profile. To upload yours, click the grayed out box in the top-center of the page. (#3 – see image below)
4. Choose your background color – the profile background color is seen above the cover photo. Make sure it is a different color to your banner image. (#5 – see image below)  

 

 

1. Link your social media channels to your profile – This provides your page visitors with links to your different social media pages. (#6, #7, #8, #9 – see image below)
2. Provide a bio – This is a chance to tell your page visitors about yourself in your own words. Either copy and paste or write your review directly into the section. (#10 – see image below)
3. Include a promotional video link – Similar to your bio, this is another change to offer potential clients some more information on yourself and what you can offer them. (#11 – see image below)
