Real estate has been part of Shanda Madriaga’s story since 2005, when she began her career in an administrative role before becoming a licensed Realtor® in 2007. What started as a job quickly became a true passion centered around people, relationships, and helping families move into the next chapter of their lives.
Born in Williamsburg and raised in the small Northern Neck town of Kilmarnock, Shanda grew up on & around the water and today, she and her family live on the water in another small town of Poquoson. That lifelong connection to coastal living naturally shapes the way she helps clients, especially those drawn to the Peninsula’s waterfront and lifestyle communities.
Shanda moved back to the Peninsula in 1999 and has called it home ever since. She met her husband in 2000, and together they are raising their son and daughter here. Their family life revolves around the same things many of her clients love, most time on the water, traveling, and making memories at home.
Over the years, many clients have become dear friends, which Shanda considers one of the greatest blessings of her career. She is deeply grateful for the referrals and trust she receives year after year and approaches every transaction with care, honesty, and steady guidance. Nothing makes her happier than seeing someone truly fall in love with where they live.
An active member of the Virginia Peninsula Association of Realtors®, Shanda serves on multiple committees and stays closely connected to the local real estate community she cares so much about.
Shanda would be honored to help you with your next move.
