When our father passed away, we were faced with selling his home as part of the estate. Neither my sister nor I lived in Pennsylvania anymore and had to find someone locally who knew the area, knew the market and who would be forthright, punctual and detailed. We solicited 'comps' from three local realtors (actually called five, three responded). Of the three realtors, two provided us comps in short order. Based on the condition of the home we really needed to know what we were dealing with and arrive at a fair selling price and sale expectations. Regina walked through the home taking detailed photos and notes of things she felt needed to be addressed. She was candid about the condition of the home and pulled comps with homes she knew in the area that presented the same or similar issues. We settled on a timeline and selling price was in-line with what we felt comfortable with. We were very impressed with our initial relationship with Regina and contracted her to list the home. I hate having to make phone calls and chase people down to find out what is going on---that never happened with Regina. Either by text, phone or email, she provided us with timely information regarding potential buyers, buyer financing, contact with our estate attorney, condition of the home, repairs. She had the insight to prepare the home for winter by recommending winterizing the home’s plumbing, she knew the issues that needed to be addressed immediately and recommended a repairman to handle them. We were mindful that this was more than selling a home, we were settling an estate, which was a significantly more complicated transaction. Given the complexities of the estate, the local real estate market, the condition of the home and our absence from the local area she did an incredibly outstanding job. We could not be more pleased with or expect anything more from Regina (or her staff during her absence).
