Maya was always super responsive by phone, text, or email (we seriously wondered when she sleeps since we got responses at all times of the day). When we wanted to see a listing, she always got it on the books as soon as possible and at a time that worked well with our busy schedules. While viewing the homes she always pointed out little details (good and bad) that we would not have noticed on our own. Having worked in the industry for so long, she also generally knew a lot of ball-park prices for various renovations, which made understanding final cost a lot clearer and less stressful. Maya was extremely helpful to us in navigating all of the complexities of the local market in Cary/Apex. She had excellent knowledge of the local areas and subdivisions, both new and old, and provided valuable advice as we worked through the tough issues of selecting location, schools, amenities and neighborhoods. As out-of-town purchasers, we also appreciated the legwork and additional investments Maya made to help us in our search -- from pre-trip research, to blocking out entire days to guide us around the area, to touring homes on our behalf and providing candid, insightful commentary. Once we signed the contract, Maya was very knowledgeable and helpful in the pre-closing and closing process, even going out with me personally to blue-tape the smallest of paint imperfections! We interviewed a handful of agents before selecting one, she was the only one that had any ideas as to how buying in NC would differ from our previous experiences in the midwest--this helped to level set our expectations. She was also the only one that provided a suggested timeline or plan for our visit to the area. With moving as stressful as it is already, its great to have someone who can help you plan based on her many experiences--she does this every day, while we purchase homes only a few times in our lives. That said, she was still flexible to modify anything she suggested. She communicated well, informing us in advance when she would not be available and had others lined up to help us if she couldn't. Maya is a true trusted advisor! My husband and I are relocating to NC from out of state and would highly recommend using Maya as your realtor. She genuinely acted in our best interest, was reliable, honest, and consistently kept open lines of communication. Maya guided us through the entire process of purchasing a home sight unseen. Not only did she send us video tours of the homes we were interested in viewing, but during the video she would give us feedback and recommendations that enabled us to be confident when deciding to moving forward with an offer. Maya coordinated everything so smoothly and we didn't have to worry about scheduling an inspector, structural engineer, attorney or even ensuring that repairs were completed. Maya really took great care of us. She sent us copies of the repair receipts and even gave us a listing of utilities in the area which made the process of closing less stressful than I could have imagined. Although we couldn't be there in person for the closing, Maya made it possible for my relatives living nearby and visiting from out of state to walk through the house after the official close. Maya is hands down the best realtor we have ever worked with. We are in the process of moving from California back to the East Coast, and she has been with us for each step. Before we could come out to see houses, she would do video-call walkthroughs with us.
