When my parents needed to quickly move from their home of forty years into Assisted Living last fall, Amy Petrone was part guardian angel and part real estate broker! Amy was incredibly sympathetic to our situation and did not push us to list the house sooner than we were ready to. In fact, she told us that "our timeline was her timeline" - those words were what sold us on signing with Amy. The house needed to be thoroughly cleaned out and freshly painted. Pete selling my house: I was totally impressed with his outstanding professionalism and moral compass. Always polite, always a gentleman. A few of his outstanding characteristics include a high quality of integrity, knowledge base of the profession, great attention to detail, promptness, courteous, caring and is always on target. He will advise you and help guide you with difficult decisions. He has a diverse network of “people to contact to get the job done” when needed. I especially like the “staging person” and how she made my house look larger. My 92-year-old mom was living with me at the time. He made sure my mom was well informed before showing the house to make her feel comfortable. That was a huge priority to me. He will return your phone calls promptly, which is crucial. Closing took less than 8 weeks and was a very smooth. The attorney he suggested I obtain was outstanding and very reasonable. If an issue came up, he would contact me immediately and get the issue resolved. Pete searching for a new home for me: He will listen to all your wants and all your needs. Once he knows the criteria you are looking for and the area you wish to live he will search high and low for you. He won’t waste your time. Once he finds a potential property, he schedules a showing ASAP. At the showing he brings “comps” of the houses around you, so you can judge the value of the property. While taking you on a tour of the property, he will suggest easy changes, look for potential flaws, and in the basement he checks the age of the hot water tank, furnace, plus checks the fuse box for being at code. If he an issue comes up about the house he will find the answer within 6 hours. The mortgage broker he hooked me up with was top notch offering many options for purchasing. I haven't found my forever home yet, but we are still looking Choosing Pete was one of the best decisions I have ever made.
